Mail or drop off your completed form to the UIS Athletic Office along with your entry fee and you're set and ready to play! -more- | 5/9/2008 -- Softball UIS Volleyball Signs Six For 2008 Season SPRINGFIELD, IL - University of Illinois at Springfield volleyball coach Joe Fisher has announced the signings of six players to play volleyball for the Prairie Stars next fall.
UIS, which finished 23-21 last season, has commitments from Carrie Gerberding, Cayla Baggerly, Kelly Wajda, Courtney Kombrink, Katie Becker and Sarah Moss for the 2008 season. -more- | 5/1/2008 -- W. Basketball Women's Basketball Inks Follmer, Glogovsky, Blair University of Illinois at Springfield women’s basketball coach Roy Gilmore has announced the signing of three players for the class of 2012.
Rachael Follmer, Erin Glogovsky and Alex Blair have each signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the UIS Prairie Stars next season. -more- | 4/28/2008 -- Softball Players Receive Conference Recognition SPRINGFIELD, IL - The Prairie Stars women's softball team, following one of their best seasons in their short five year history, has accomplished another first for the program. Four of their student-athletes were recognized for their athletic play during the season and seven were recognized for their academic accomplishments.
Brianne Moeller (Nashville, Illinois) and Jessica Wolff (Brighton, Illinois) were named to the American Midwest Conference First Team and JoAnna Eddy (Bethalto, Illinois) and Nicole McAfee (Pawnee, Illinois) were named Honorable Mention All-Conference and seven members of the softball team were recognized as Academic All-Conference Team members. -more- |
